CarrieHowe is a retired Marine with more than 30-years of leadership, building teams, and crisis-planningexperience. Aformer combat helicopter pilot turned Foreign Area Officer and Defense Attaché,she is the President and CEO of Howe Global Initiatives.  She also serves on the faculty at GeorgetownUniversity’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. She has extensiveinternational experience working with multinational military, political, andnon-profit organizations with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia.

Carrie holds a Master of Arts Degreein Military Science and a Master of Science Degree in Psychology with aconcentration in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.  She has a Bachelor ofScience Degree in English with Merit and a minor in Spanish from the UnitedStates Naval Academy.
