Jason Green, a DC-based attorney, entrepreneur, and advisor in economic opportunity, equity, and the future of work, is a dynamic executive known for his multifaceted expertise. Currently serving as Senior Advisor to Zeal Capital Partners, a DC-based inclusive investing venture firm dedicated to eliminating the skills and wealth gap, Jason is at the forefront of shaping the future of work and economic impact.

In 2013, Jason co-founded SkillSmart, an award-winning enterprise advising Fortune 500 companies to leverage local and diverse workforce and supplier communities to ensure large-scale economic development projects are equitable and inclusive. Before SkillSmart, Jason's journey led him to local and federal government roles, culminating in his position as Associate Counsel to President Barack Obama. His work at the White House, driven by a response to the Great Recession, focused on strategies to retrain the American workforce, implement placed-based economic stimuli, and track the economic impact of large-scale legislation. Earlier in his career, Jason served as the National Voter Registration Director for the Obama Campaign during the 2008 general election, introducing technology to revolutionize voter registration through the innovative 50-state Vote for Change campaign. Jason's advisory work extends to supporting the Khulumani Support Group, the Humanist Organization for Human Rights and Johannesburg Stock Exchange in developing and testing the human rights compliance assessment in South Africa.

Green serves on numerous corporate and non-profit boards and commissions, including chairing the Montgomery County Remembrance and Reconciliation Commission. In addition to his executive roles, Jason is a creative force, recently directing and co-producing "Finding Fellowship," an award-winning documentary exploring the hopeful story of an unlikely merger of three racially-segregated churches in the divided 1960s in the DC region.

A TEDx speaker and frequent contributor, Jason has been featured on Bloomberg News, MSNBC, and NPR, discussing workforce trends, politics, and the economy. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and Yale Law School, Jason combines legal acumen with a passion for community-driven economic development.
