Kristian “Kristie” is an accomplished professional serving as the President of Stiles Partners, LLC, a distinguished political consulting firm. With a career spanning over two decades, she has demonstrated her expertise in developing innovative development strategies, comprehensive plans, and effective public affairs approaches that align with her clients' financial objectives and messaging goals. She connects her clients with influential political and business leaders worldwide through her extensive professional networks.

Before her return to her political consulting firm, Kristie spent eight years as the Managing Director of Mercury Public Affairs, a globally recognized high-stakes global strategy firm. Since 2007, she has also led her practice, providing invaluable fundraising, communications, and event management guidance for political candidates, non-profit organizations, and thought leaders nationwide. Additionally, Kristie represents family offices, offering expert advice in philanthropic and political giving.

In recent times, Kristie has served as a senior consultant for the political campaigns of prominent Attorneys General, including Letitia James (NY), Raul Torrez (NM), and Kwame Raoul (IL). She has also worked with Presidential Candidate Beto O’Rourke, the Democratic Attorneys General Association, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., and New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman. Furthermore, she was Senior Production and Communications Advisor for the Greene Foundation’s Thought Leadership Conference – Managing the Disruption. This prestigious weekend-long conference featured former British Prime Minister David Cameron and notable speakers like Thomas Friedman and Lawrence Summers.

Kristie's impressive clientele also includes New York Mayoral candidate William Thompson, the New York State Democratic Party, numerous Members of Congress, the DCCC, the DGA, House Majority PAC, and non-profit organizations such as the International Fund for Animal Welfare, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and Elizabeth Seton’s Pediatric Center.

Before embarking on her successful career as a political consultant, Kristie served on the staff of Vice President Al Gore's presidential campaign in 2000, Congressman Richard Gephardt's campaign in 2004, as well as the gubernatorial campaigns of New York Governors Eliot Spitzer and David A. Paterson.

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Ms. Stiles was listed in City and State's Power 50 Political Consultants in 2019. She is an alumna of The American Council of Young Political Leaders and was a member of their 2011 delegation to Indonesia and Malaysia. Recently, she joined the Board of Beyond Differences, a nonprofit founded by Laura Talmus and Ace Smith, dedicated to inspiring students nationwide to end social isolation and foster inclusive communities. Kristie holds a BA in Journalism and Political Science from Southern Methodist University.

Kristie takes great pride in her Muscogee Creek Tribe heritage. She resides in Santa Fe, NM, with her husband, Marius Muresanu, a gallerist and fine arts photographer, and their daughter, Aurelia.
